Since arriving in Scottsdale from Illinois in 1974, Francine has earned extraordinary popularity. She left the Valley in 1993 to pursue opportunities elsewhere, including touring with Lyle Lovett and Willie Nelson. In 2017, Francine returned to the Valley, but limited her local performances to The Nash. Reed has not performed in Scottsdale since 1993, so this is a chance for her adoring fans and newbies of all ages to experience her extraordinary voice and charisma. Her musicians will include Jesse McGuire on trumpet, who has played with Tower of Power and Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, and is well-known for performing the National Anthem at the World Series-winning Diamondbacks game!

Tucson-based vocalist Joe Bourne is a charming performer with voice reminiscent of Cole’s, and a repertoire and arrangements that celebrate his unique style. The beloved Dennis Rowland, a 2018 Arizona Governor’s Arts Award recipient and former vocalist with The Count Basie Orchestra, will add his world-class style to the show.

Wednesday, March 6, 2019
For more than 15 years, this annual show featuring several top local female vocalists has delighted Scottsdale audiences with its contrasting styles in the traditions of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Nancy Wilson and other icons. After taking a gap year, the show will feature four of the Valley’s most celebrated vocalists: Delphine Cortez, Sherry Roberson, Diana Lee and Alice Tatum. All four “divas” have had long careers in the Valley and have built strong fan bases over more than four decades. The opportunity to see artists of such high caliber and diversity in one musical event is truly four shows in one!
