THE GENTLEMAN DOC HOLLIDAY – PLAYED BY WYATT EARP

The story of the West’s most famous dentist and his journey from one who heals to one who kills. Doc Holliday tells his story to fellow inmates in a Denver, Colorado Jail cell in 1882. It is two months after he and the Earps have fled the Arizona Territory. The play is based primarily on the book Doc Holliday – A Family Portrait by Karen Holliday Tanner. Ms Tanner is a direct descendant of Doc’s cousin, Robert Holliday.

YOUNG SOUNDS OF ARIZONA

Young Sounds is comprised of forty students ranging in ages fourteen to nineteen. They come from over twenty schools in the greater Phoenix area. They are considered to be the best young talent that the Valley has to offer. Since its inception in 1971 the organization has evolved from a fine youth big band into two big bands and a jazz combo. Young Sounds of Arizona remains the first and oldest program of its kind in the Country.

Tributes and Tangos, Music of the Americas
Come with the Desert Wind Saxophone Quartet as they travel through the western hemisphere discovering new and tantalizing music along the way. They start their travels in New York City and work across the country to California and to the Desert Southwest. They then ease down through Mexico and Central America to the land of the Tango Nuevo in Argentina, having gathered music from people and cultures along the way. Once in Argentina they are entranced by the music and are drawn to the passionate melodies, rhythms and….. Lost them again.
